Privacy Policy
Chords Explorer — Last updated: April 2026
1. Overview
Chords Explorer is a chord progression tool available on the web and as a native app (iOS, Android). This policy explains what data is collected and how it is used.
2. Data collected
- Anonymous analytics — We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure aggregate usage (sessions, events, screens viewed). No personally identifiable information is collected. On the native app, analytics are sent via a server-side endpoint and include a randomly generated client ID stored locally on your device.
- Local storage — App preferences (language, sound settings, progression history) are stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers.
- Purchase data — If you unlock the export feature (in-app purchase), the transaction is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store payment information.
3. Data not collected
We do not collect your name, email address, location, or any other personally identifiable information. We do not sell or share data with third parties.
4. Third-party services
5. Children
Chords Explorer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
6. Changes
This policy may be updated occasionally. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
